It might seem strange that I bother posting my stuff, when even a glance at my favourites Gallery will show you that my attempts aren't all that good. And - more to the point - I know they aren't. :) Given the way I feel about WRITING whenever I encounter someone who's ten times - twenty times, a hundred times, immeasurably - better at it than I am, the feeling I get that I don't know why I bother, why I even try, when I will never, ever be So & So, or write anything a fraction as good as Such & Such, especially when Such & Such has a very similar plot/premise to one of the stories or articles in my WIP folder, you would think the people on

The only good thing about having a back condition that flares up intermittantly, is that I get to spend a lot of time dabbling in art and practising during the flare ups. I've been working on landscapes and wildlife art, using personally owned photographs, wildlife journals etc as source materials, and attempting to follow exercises from my wide collection of art guide books. I FINALLY bought myself a scanner.... so now you get to see the truth of my "I can't draw" statements. I'll probably be slow with posting stuff, mainly because I'm slow at PRODUCING stuff, but PLEASE tell me what you think. Be BRUTAL.
